If you are a doer- someone who just fixes something right away, then you are what we are looking for! It is critical that you are:
1) Reliable- have transportation and show up to work, 2) Take pride in your work, 3) Have mechanical aptitude, 4) Have a can-do attitude! Handling and blending raw materials for precast refractory shapes, according to batch sheets and returning to appropriate locations when finished.
Read and interpret production schedules, formulas and other documents for products being produced, ability to follow procedures exactly and document lot numbers, weights and other information on batch sheets without error Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products Add or mix raw materials processing, using hand tools or other devices Start machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of materials Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure conformance to established standards Inspect, examine, and observe product, equipment, for workmanship defects Cleans tools and work area on daily basis Demonstrate initiative in execution of assigned tasks and duties, and perform work as assigned by supervisor Arrive to work on-time each day, mentally alert and physically able to work Strictly adhere to Company health and safety policies and procedures and wears Personal protective gear while in this role
Qualifications:
Six months of experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus, however will provide on-the-job training for those with limited or no experience High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to safely operate tow motors, cranes, and power tools Reasoning ability and general math skills Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying calm under pressure from multiple ongoing projects Working Conditions:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to maintain consistent workload that involves lift, bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in an industrial setting May perform other duties, as assigned
