Our open Resource Teacher position at The Goddard School in North Ridgeville may be the right one for you! At our 5 star Step Up to Quality rated school, our Resource Teachers fill many critical roles around the school.
They fill in for regular classroom teachers as needed, help the administrative staff with support needs, and prepare and distribute snacks to our classrooms.
These tasks allow for a diversity of experiences and the ability to interact with children across our age groups from 6 weeks to 6 years.
We are looking for an independent, reliable worker who loves to interact with children and works well with other faculty members.

Job Requirements Full time availability preferred and able to work within the hours of 7a-6p, Monday-Friday; no weekends! Preparing and distributing morning and afternoon snacks daily in a timely manner Able to step into classroom roles as needed for short (10 minutes) and long (multiple days) periods of time Other tasks as assigned daily by administrative staff Qualifications Some background in Early Childhood Education preferred; willingness to pursue formal education in the field desirable Must pass FBI/BCI background checks as required by state licensing Drug screening required Must be able to work and adapt quickly to the job needs of the day Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle stressful or emotional situations while maintaining composure Further requirements discussed in the interview process Benefits Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience with room to grow!
